I gave myself a Wii Zapper for Valentine’s Day and it is so cool! (Yes, I guess I love myself but I did get JJ some nice flowers as well). It’s simply a plastic case that you snap in the Wii Remote and Nun-Chuck attachment. The weight of the zapper and the rumble pack and speekers in the Wiimote makes it look and feel like a real gun. For $20 the zapper comes with the game Link’s Crossbow Training which is pretty cool in its own right. Together this is a sweet little deal!
I’ve been out of gaming for several years and like I mentioned here the Wii System gave me (and my family) a good reason to get back into gaming. Since I haven’t had a PS or Xbox I have not taken part in the Halo and Call of Duty phenomenon. The last military strategy/attack video games that I owned were Airborne Ranger (C-64), and Commando (C-64), yeah old school. Right now this is a toy just for Dad. I haven’t had my kids shooting anthing and the characters in the game are pretty scary. But when I need some Man time I can hook up the Zapper, drop in the Crossbow game, and for a moment, “I’m a bad man.”
It should come with Duck Hunt.
Hey T. I got one of these, too. It is a blast! I, too, can only play it when the kiddies are in bed, because there are some pretty scary characters on that game.
I guess watching Rambo last month really made an impact on you!! You, sir, are a killing machine!! Let me see your war face!
I agree with the poster above: Duck Hunt would rock with this gadget! Make it so, number 1!
