A few weeks ago I traveled to Madison Mississippi, with Pastor Scott, to met with some key staff of LifeBridge Church. We met with the lead pastor, Philip Thurman, along with Greg Miller, and Johnny Irvin. I worked with Philip as a volunteer ten years ago when he was the Singles and College Pastor at [...]

It’s spring time and that mean’s yard work has begun. However we were able to catch the Eagles and Rice for a game at Pete Taylor Park on Saturday. Thanks Ty for the tickets! Eagles got blasted 16-4, but came back today to win 5-4 to avoid the sweep at home. After the game my [...]

Wired word, I know. I was not familiar with it to just recently. I had read the story of the bronze snake being used in the wilderness to heal the Israelites (Numbers 21:8-9), but I had never remembered reading that later on that they began to worship it. Speaking of King Hezekiah 2 Kings 18:3-4 [...]

Just Thinking

Disney’s Customer service is world class! It amazes me to see people who actually realize you are the reason they are getting paid and treat you as such. We need to figure out how to bottle it up for other businesses and churches to use. Please be in prayer for this guy and his young [...]

We’re back from our trip to Disney. It was a very fun and exhausting! Running through four parks with 3 kids has its challenges. I hope to start posting again within the next few days.
