A Box and a Bowl of Milk

I pretty much eat cereal every morning for breakfast. I’ve been doing that most of my life. Only in the past few years have I converted to the more healthy cereals. But through the years my taste buds have been entertained by some great (processed with lots of sugar) cereals. I found a link where you can vote on the top 100 cereals of all time. Here are my top ten, in no particular order.

Frosted Flakes – This is the base line for all other good cereals

Captain Crunch Peanut Butter- I don’t know thing is a richer cereal on the market

Fruity Pebbles – This is a more sophisticated version of Fruit Loops

Cinnamon Toast Crunch – Who doesn’t like tons of cinnamon and sugar?

Vanilla Cookie Crisp – They no longer make this one, but it was my favorite as a kid

Frosted Rice Crispies – All I got to say is Rice Crispies Treat in a bowl.

Fruit Loops – I recommend threading this one through string and eating it dry (i.e. Pre-School)

Grape Nuts – Nothing grape about these, but soak them for ten minutes and add about ¼ cup of sugar and you’ll be ready for a sweet and salty treat.

Berry Berry Kix – I actually gave a box of these as a gift during college

Golden Graham – I’ve been known to make myself sick of these.
